Found in beautiful Rendlesham - Woodbridge, we are based in a purpose building which has a nurturing and warm feel to it. From the minute you walk through the door, into the atrium where staff and children circulate, you can't help but pick up on the lively chatter within the nursery.

Each room opens directly onto the atrium, giving siblings the wonderful opportunity to mix and see one another throughout the day. This central space is truly the heart of the nursery—a lively hub where music lessons, drama sessions, and spontaneous moments of entertainment take place. The nursery sits at the centre of its community, maintaining strong connections with both current and former families, creating a genuine and lasting family feel.
The Beacon is surrounded by beautiful, age‑appropriate gardens that can be enjoyed all year round. These outdoor spaces promote free‑flow play, whether children are exploring the den, planting seeds, scribbling on the paving stones, or simply dashing about on scooters and bikes. The baby garden features a charming old tree that offers welcome shade in the summer months and provides little ones with the perfect spot to watch for birds.
Within walking distance of the stunning Rendlesham Forest, The Beacon Day Nursery and Preschool also makes the most of its natural surroundings. Children regularly venture out for woodland walks, giving them the chance to explore nature firsthand and deepen their understanding of the world around them.
Meet Our Managers And Senior Leadership Team
Guiding our nursery with experience, passion, and a commitment to excellence
At Beacon Day Nursery, our managers and senior staff play a vital role in shaping the warm, nurturing environment we are so proud of. With years of experience in early years education, they lead with compassion, professionalism, and a deep understanding of what children and families need to thrive.
Our leadership team works closely with practitioners across every room, ensuring high‑quality care, inspiring learning opportunities, and a consistent approach that supports each child’s individual journey. They are dedicated to building strong relationships with families, offering guidance, reassurance, and open communication every step of the way.
From overseeing daily practice to championing creativity, safety, and emotional wellbeing, our managers and senior staff are the steady hands and caring hearts behind everything we do. Their commitment ensures that Golden Apples remains a place where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn — and where families feel truly supported.
